Bohemian Paradise March

For over 50 years, March Through the Bohemian Paradise (Pochod Českým rájem), or Rumcajs March (Putování za Rumcajsem), has marked the beginning of the tourist season.

Jičín becomes very crowded the last Saturday every March. From the early morning hours, marchers of varied abilities set off on several trails, thus beginning their hiking season. Families with small children choose short and less demanding trails around Jičín, which have additional tasks and challenges along the way. Long trails lead through the spring landscape of the Bohemian Paradise. There are trails for cyclists, too.
